How to Pricematch: What I do is print out this list and take it right to Walmart (or retrieve it on your smart phone by clicking on the PDF format attachment!). Load up your cart and when you get to the register be sure to separate your price matching stuff and put it at the end. Then tell the cashier you have price matching and just read off the list as they scan it and they will adjust the price. Remember, you can match generic, produce, and meats-not just name brand items! I tried to hunt down the coupon match ups as best I could! Remember that the best deals are the ones that you pricematch AND have a coupon for!
Something to note about my abbreviation "SV" - it means Select Varieties. Because the advertisement says "Select Varieties", Walmart will allow you to choose from ANY variety of that particular item. Example: Hershey's Baking Chips, SV 8-12 oz: You can select from any variety of Hershey's baking chips (butterscotch, peanut butter, milk chocolate) so long as they are within the 8-12 oz size guideline.
Tip of the week: Where do you find your coupons? You would be surprised at all the different places you can find them. A lot of really great high value coupons can be found in your favorite magazines. Especially "home" themed ones. Other great ones are on the product you are looking for's website or their facebook page. Some brands have pages that you join that give you first access to high value or even try for free coupons on their new products. An example of this is Kraft's First Taste program. Last week I got a ton of free or 1.50 off kraft product coupons. Try going to dealseekingmom.com and using her coupon database to find coupons on all your favorite products!!
